Falls Church Wins Voter Turnout Challenge
Falls Church City easily won the voter turnout challenge impetuously made by Charlottesville Mayor Dave Norris. Charlottesville had a mere 67 percent turnout ... and got punked by a casual 82 percent rollout from Falls Church.

The beautiful, talented, and hyper-competitive Falls Church Mayor Robin Gardner was charitable in victory, saying, "Charlottesville was never in this thing." Or something like that.
At one point the turnout challenge escalated into a local blog war between Blueweeds and the self-described "hippies with STDs" from the cvillain Charlottesville blog. Had Charlottesville won the challenge, the cvillain hippies vowed to "bitch slap" Falls Church and use our sassafras tree as a toothbrush before consuming it in the form of ecstasy.
Well, fortunately, the challenge did not work out the way the hippies predicted.
