Charlottesville Makes Good On Bust Promise

The voter turnout challenge between Falls Church and Charlottesville has officially come to a close.  Charlottesville Mayor Dave Norris made a trek to our fair city yesterday to concede and lunch with Falls Church Mayor Robin Gardner.  Argia's is our Appomattox.  City Manager and Charlottesville native, Wyatt Shields was on hand to translate and record the event for posterity.

Mayor Norris paid the promised reparations - a statue of Thomas Jefferson (which he paid for himself).  See official surrender photo (courtesy Hyun June Lee) below:

Note to frequent readers:  There was some confusion on my part about the reparations which led to me posting a man boobs photo.  Because when c-ville said it promised a "bust of Thomas Jefferson"  I, well, took that a little too literally.  My bad.
